Money 101: How to Save, Spend, and Invest

  • Aero Film 236 W. 27th Street (7th Floor) New York, NY 10001 (map)

Did your parents teach you about credit cards, debt, spending, saving and all those things that you need to know to be a functioning adult? Ours didn't. Thank goodness we found Ashley Feinstein Gerstley (aka the Fiscal Femme), who will lead a deep dive workshop on everything our parents forgot to tell us about money.

Goal:  Improve your relationship with money and create an action plan to protect and increase your hard earned dollars.

Key Takeaways:

  • Create happiness allocations (spending plan & budgets)
  • Plan out short and long-term saving goals
  • Learn how to improve credit scores
  • Learn on how to make informed investments

About the Instructor:

Ashley Feinstein Gerstley is a certified life coach specializing in money and personal finance. She has a degree in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, she was an investment banker at Jefferies & Co, and since then, she's dedicated her life to transform the way people feel and think about their money.

Ashley's mission: "I am out to share the power and freedom I experienced from my money journey with women everywhere. It’s time for a new conversation about money. It’s time to take charge of your personal finances rather than be at the mercy of them. Money is just a tool. It’s a facilitator. When you work with me, we break down: what you are trying to accomplish, how to accomplish it, and how to maintain your lifestyle. You can live the way you want, while saving and investing for the future. I’m here to help."
