Townhall: Being Brave at Work (Wilmington)

  • 1400 South 2nd Street Wilmington, NC, 28401 United States (map)

You can't get where you want to go if you are scared. This town hall is all about knowing your rights, standing up for yourself and never letting fear stand between you and your dreams. In recognition of domestic violence awareness month and we thought that it would be fitting to have a town hall about bravery.

We have brought together strong and inspiring women who exhibit bravery every day.

Our fabulous speakers include:

Mandy Houvouras - Outreach Director at the Domestic Violence Shelter and Services

Drewe Smith - Stylist and Co-founder of Drewe and Kate

Lorin Van Zandt - Founder & President of MISSIO Hair

Moderated by the lovely Shea Carver, editor of Encore Magazine

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we are asking all of our attendings to bring a donation for the shelter. Little of big - everything helps!! Here's a link to the shelter's wish list! HERE!
