Women and Money Town Hall: Philadelphia

  • The Maas Building 1325 North Randolph Street Philadelphia, PA, 19122 United States (map)

Money is power. It's self-worth. It's value. It's also really uncomfortable to talk about.

Come join Ladies Get Paid: Philadelphia for our first ever town hall where women will share their work war stories and together, strategize on how we can better advocate for ourselves and each other. At each town hall we ask our panelists to share their stories, and then we open the discussion to the room and encourage everyone to share or ask something. Wine and snacks will be provided.

Speakers will include:

  • Nayo Carter-Gray, EA MBA - Nayo, CEO of 1st Step Accounting, makes accounting a little less taxing. Her experience in both public and private sector has garnered over 15 years of tax and accounting experience.
  • Maggie Baker, Ph.D. is a psychology and financial therapy specialist and the author of Crazy About Money: How Emotions Confuse Our Money Choices And What To Do About It. Maggie's book tells the stories of people who try to act rationally about money but end up sabotaging their own efforts.
  • Rita Friedman - Rita is a certified job and career transition coach who is passionate about helping her clients increase their earning potential. Her articles and interviews have been featured in Money Magazine,, and Working Mother Magazine.

The town hall will be moderated by Claire Wasserman, Founder, Ladies Get Paid. Organized by Ladies Get Paid: Philadelphia committee Rachel RobbinsKimberly Ellen Hall, Ali King and Erin Carroll
