You probably started managing people before you became an "official" manager. In this webinar, you'll learn some of the specific skills that you need as you grow as a leader (like setting boundaries, giving feedback, and being an advocate). You'll come away with specific actions you can take immediately, and you'll get some perspectives to help shift your mindset from Individual Contributor to a manager.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Kim Nicol is an executive coach who helps people build critical soft-skills: communication, presence, self-awareness, and mindfulness. She teaches Essential Skills for New Managers at General Assembly, and delivers half-day leadership skills trainings for corporate clients. Her students include leaders from Reddit, Facebook, LinkedIn, Everlane, the Hilton Foundation, and the Cartier Women's Initiative. Her coaching practice is founded on mindfulness principles and self-care for inspired, authentic growth. She is a former lawyer.
